Through PHOENIX, I support individuals navigating the impact of difficult relationships, dysfunctional family systems, emotional manipulation, trauma, and life transitions. I also design and facilitate mental health and psychological wellness programs for organizations, helping teams build resilience, emotional intelligence, psychological safety, and healthier workplace cultures.
My Mission
I believe healing begins when people feel seen, understood, and empowered. Many individuals struggle silently after experiencing emotional abuse, toxic relationship patterns, invalidation, burnout, or chronic stress. My mission is to provide evidence-informed psychological education, compassionate support, and practical tools that help people understand themselves, rebuild confidence, develop healthier boundaries, and create meaningful change.
Through counselling, writing, workshops, and mental health awareness initiatives, I aim to make psychological knowledge accessible and transformative.
My Approach to Healing
My work follows an integrative, trauma-informed approach, drawing from evidence-based psychological frameworks and contemporary trauma recovery principles, including:
✅ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Identifying and restructuring unhelpful thought patterns, beliefs, and cognitive distortions that influence emotions and behaviour.
✅ Trauma-Informed Therapy Principles – Understanding the impact of adverse experiences, attachment wounds, trauma responses, and emotional safety on an individual's mental health and relationships.
✅ Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – Developing psychological flexibility, emotional acceptance, mindfulness, and value-based living.
✅ Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills – Building emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, and healthier coping strategies.
✅ Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) – Identifying strengths, resources, and practical solutions to support meaningful change.
✅ EMDR-Informed Trauma Approaches – Applying trauma processing principles to understand distressing memories, triggers, and pathways toward recovery.
✅ Somatic and Body-Based Trauma Approaches – Recognizing the connection between the mind, body, nervous system, and stored stress responses during the healing process.
✅ Polyvagal-Informed Approaches – Understanding nervous system regulation, safety responses, and the role of connection in trauma recovery.
✅ Mindfulness-Based Approaches – Developing present-moment awareness, self-compassion, and emotional balance.
✅ Inner Child Healing Approaches – Exploring childhood emotional wounds, unmet needs, attachment patterns, and developing a compassionate relationship with oneself.
✅ Psychoeducation and Self-Help-Based Interventions – Helping individuals understand psychological patterns, trauma responses, relationship dynamics, and practical tools for self-growth.
